Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Wonderful! I used a large can of crushed tomatoes instead of the paste and added a generous splash of cooking sherry and a dash of season-all. Wonderful.

This cake turned out fabulous! For those folks that have problem with the cake sticking, it's worth it to invest in Wilton's Cake Release. You can buy a bottle of it at almost any craft store or decorette shop that carries cake supplies.

Divinity

This is my first time making this recipe and it turned out great! I beat the egg whites for a really long time (while I waited for the sugar mixture to hit 260 degrees) and then added the sugar when it finally hit the right "stage". I was surprised at how long I had to beat the two together. I stood and watched my stand mixer, 5 minutes went by, 10 minutes, 12 minutes and then finally right around the 15 minute mark it started to set. Next time I'll probably just put it into a wax paper lined baking pan vs. spooning it out. My grandmother used to do it that way and I think its a bit easier than spooning it. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I wish I had read more of the reviews before I made this cheesecake. While it was tasty it does have a grand cayon of a crack and is a bit brown on the top. What I've learned: DON'T OVERWHIP. Make sure you blend the cream cheese smooth BEFORE you add the eggs and then mix as little as possible. Cook at 325...350 is too hot and results in a brown cake. Good taste though.

Wow! These are great! I added 1/2 cup chopped pecans instead of walnuts because I like the flavor better but otherwise followed the recipe. Others are right - dough is very thick, thank goodness for kitchenaid stand mixers.

Very yummy! I substituted brown sugar Karo Syrup and used dark brown sugar because I think it gives the flavor a bit more depth. I also added chopped pecans. Great cookies!

Sweet Corn Tomalito

This recipe is really quite good, although time consuming when using the steaming process the recipe calls for. Like another poster said - I used all masa harina instead of adding cornmeal and it turned out very smooth. My local grocery store only had "instant corn flour" (masa harina instant) and it still worked out.
