Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
These are one of the best Rolls I've ever tasted. Even better than some restaurants I've been to. I didn't change the recipe at all. I don't have a bread machine so I just prepared the water milk and sugar then warmed that to 110 degrees and added the yeast then let that set for 10 mins then added the rest of the ingredients and let that rise for about 45 mins to an hour then shaped and let rise for another hour and baked as directed. YUMMY!!!

My Chili

This is my favorite go to chili recipe, I just add more beans and only lb ground beef. I also add 1 teaspoon cocoa powder and double up on the chili powder to give it more of an authentic taste.

These were absolutely wonderful, I used 3 bananas for extra flavor and I threw in one finely chopped apple (simply because I needed to use it up) I'll definitely make these again

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Awesome recipe I didn't have time to slow cook them so I just browned them with the onions and 3 cloves of minced garlic then added the flour. Then 1 can chicken broth in place of the water and builion and simmered for 45 mins. Then added the sour cream and heated it through. I served it over some egg noodles and it was delicious even the kids loved it.

Swedish Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
This was very good. Even hubby went back for seconds. That never happens. Only change I made was to let the meat mixture sit in the fridge all day. I didn't feel like there was quite enough gravy so I added 1 packet of country gravy with 2 cups water.

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
I made this for the family tonight and unfortunately as the recipe is, it's just not edible with 1 tablespoon of pepper. I only used half what was called for and it was still way too spicy and I like spicy. I ended up having to add tomato paste to mask the pepper, should have just left it out altogether.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
I've made this several times now and it's one of my fav's. Here's how I make it. I brown the grown beef with about 1/2 cup onion, and 2 cloves garlic along with the bell pepper, drain then add 3 fresh tomatoes (I have an overabundance from my garden) add some mushrooms and let that simmer for about 30 mins then add the jar of pasta let simmer while you cook the noodles. In the mean time I mix the sour cream and cream cheese then throw in some dried chives and sprinkle in a little parmesan (eyeball it) mix the noodles in with the cream cheese mixture then place that in the bottom of the 13x9 pan and pour spaghetti sauce over top and sprinkle with the cheese and bake as directed.

Banana Bread Cookies

OH MY!! the banana bread cookies are to die for! The only changes I made to the recipe is added an extra banana (2 instead of 1) and added the mini choc chips. I didn't bother with the frosting. They don't need it they are sooooo good.
