A chocolate muffin with a really cute icing
About this Cook
I'm a 15-year-old girl, living in Lithuania.I'm a vegetarian and I like cats, music and chocolate and my hobbies include playing the piano, drawing, listening to music and,of course, cooking.I'm not an expert at cooking and I usually leave the hard things for my mom to handle but I'm trying hard to get better.I specialize in muffins, cupcakes, pancakes and other desserts.
My favorite things to cook
I just looooove muffins and cupcakes!I like the way they look like a little cute cakes and they are really very easy to make.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My whole family loves pancakes and I guess it's the biggest tradition in our family-to cook them whenever there's no food in the fridge.
My cooking triumphs
My first muffins-chocolate muffins.I made them for christmas and took them to my grandma where about 15 people saw them and told me how good they were...XD
My cooking tragedies
I wanted to take some muffins to show off to my class.Unfortunately I didn't have any muffin liners so I just greased the muffin cups. When they were ready I found out that they got stuck and fell apart as I tried to get them out.It was about 8pm and I had to run to the store to get some muffin liners and start all over again.

Peanut Butter Easter Eggs
I'm only giving this recipe two stars because my sister, who is a sugar maniac, seemed to enjoy these. To me it tasted like sugar with a mild peanut flavour. Way too sweet.

Cream Cheese Frosting II
Wonderfully tasting frosting with a great texture. It wasn't too sweet, I hate it when frosting/icing is sweet, you can't taste the cake itself. This was perfect however. I didn't use any, but I imagine that a few drops of lemon would've made it even better. I did make the mistake of not using soft enough butter, the frosting ended up having tiny crumbles of butter in it, but even so it went great with my carrot cupcakes.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake
Brilliant recipe - the flavour was amazing. I didn't put any raisins in the dough, never liked those things. I made cupcakes instead of a cake and it was enough for 22 medium-sized cupcakes. I had to bake them for about half an hour and even then it still seemed a tad too moist, however, once they stand for a while the texture becomes a bit drier, making it perfect! I also used Cream Cheese Frosting II - great combination. Definitely goes into my recipe box!
