Pretty good cake. Of course the crumbly topping was the best part!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
Love this recipe. I have made it a few times already and just put one in the oven for tomorrow's family party. To lower my stress level, I always cook the turkey the day before the event. And then I can carve it and reheat it the next day! Always get compliments on how moist the meat is. I think I will be in charge of the turkey from now on.

Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Loved this recipe. All the leftovers were gone quickly. They were fighting over them! I usually make refried beans or spanish rice to go with these. I still have leftover sides but not leftover enchiladas.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
Awesome recipe! I had to wait until the picky eater son went back to college after a weekend at home to make this for the other son. I made it as directed except used 4 potatoes instead of 2. DH ate 2 bowls. We garnished with the bacon, sour cream, chives and cheddar cheese. Can't wait to take a bowl to work for lunch tomorrow.

Chicken Pot Pie on the Run

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
Very good and quick. I love any recipe that uses a deli chicken. They are only $4.99 at Kroger. Made this exactly to the recipe. One serving leftover and there were only 3 of us eating. Must have been good.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
This was great. I wanted to cook a good dinner for my son (and the rest of the family) tonight before my son goes back to college from his long Christmas break. I picked up a 5 lb roast from Costco (first time I ever bought meat there). I usually tend to overcook roast beef but this was really good. It smelled great cooking at the high temperature and I actually only left in the turned off oven about 1 1/2 hours. I couldn't stand waiting (and everyone was hungry) so I cut into it and it was perfect. The only thing wrong was that it wasn't real warm. I needed to cook something else in the oven so turned it back on at 350 and the meat was warm after about 20 minutes. I will definitely make it again.
