Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
good as is. also did 6oz sour cream, 1/2 c milk and that was good as well. i doubled it, put it in a big foil pan that was slightly deeper and bigger than a 9x13. baked for 35 mins. it was the right amount for a large group picnic.

Laura's Unbelievable Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
I didn't like the spinach in it, but that might be just tonight. Good with parmesan. I also used only half the cream cheese and half the pasta.

Peppered Bacon and Tomato Linguine

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
good idea to put bacon in the sauce. i wish i would have used 2 cans of diced tomatoes (italian flavoring). instead, i added almost a jar of spaghetti sauce. i added chicken, but then i remembered that i don't like chicken in tomato sauce.

Chicken Tetrazzini I

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
After reading reviews, I did 1 can cream of chicken and about 12 oz of sour cream. I also deglazed chicken pan with sherry and then added 3T butter to sautee 1 4oz can of mushrooms (family not a fan of mushrooms). I added peas. It was a little dry, so next time I will add 1/2 c (or so) of milk.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
delicious as is! followed it with water. did not have navy beans, so i used chickpea. used 3/4 lb elbows and it was pretty much all noodles (what i like). generous on the parmesan and no salt. next time, i'd half the recipe and only use cannellini white beans. (chickpea was a tad too flavorful.)

Shrimp and Asparagus Fettuccine

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
new review: excellent! old bay makes all the difference. pepper helps too! olive oil fine to use. [Good. Could use a little something else... maybe more seasoning. Second time, I used butter instead of olive oil and it was MUCH better. Just added parmesan and it was tasty enough.]
