Wonderful recipe, though I did make a few changes. I use whole wheat flour, applesauce instead of butter, and eggbeaters instead of eggs. Also, I use closer to a cup and a half of apples, but I leave out the nuts and raisins. I also leave off the glaze- these healthy cookies don't need to be ruined with a sugar coating. Additionally, I found that the dough didn't really stick, so I add a little less than 1/4 cup of water to each batch. Just be careful not to add too much water! I highly recomend this recipes to anyone looking for a delicious, healthy treat. I am now well-known at my school for my "awesome" cookies, largely thanks to this recipe.
