Whole Wheat Pancakes

These were delicious! I used 1/3 cup ground oats because I didn't have wheat germ. Then I used 2 cups sour milk and had planned on using the other1/2 cup but didn't need it. I used 1/4 cup of apple sauce in place of the butter and meant to use an egg, but totally forgot! They turned out wonderful! Sorry I made so many changes, but I we're trying to be super healthy! Thanks for sharing!

German Chocolate Cake Frosting II

This frosting was awesome! I never knew it was so easy to make coconut pecan frosting...I'll never use store-bought again! This recipe was perfect as is. Make sure you cook it until its to the soft ball stage...there is NO need for corn starch! Great recipe...thanks for sharing!

Chef John's Perfect Prime Rib

This cooking method works perfectly!! I used my own seasonings, so I'm not sure on that part, but my advice is to try this cooking method. It is very scary the first time, but mine turned out PERFECT! I won't ever use another cooking method for our prime rib.

Holiday ONLY Mashed Potatoes

I had the same problem others had--the consistancy was much like elmer's glue (I followed the directions to a T)!! These were simply too thick. I think I'll stick to the normal milk and butter for my potatoes.

Best Spanish Rice

This was a good recipe, but I think next time maybe I'll use half beef broth and half chicken. Using chicken broth made it too chickeney for my mexican dinner. The texture was great though! I'll make this again with my adjustments!

Guacamole

Very good flavor!! Make sure you let it set for an hour before serving--the flavor is much better that way! I left the seeds in the bowl until I served the guacamole to help it not turn brown, and it worked out perfect!!

This had great flavor after it melted down a bit. Next time I will use fresh strawberries instead of frozen because the frozen berries made it too much like a smoothie.

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

I've never tasted pancakes this good! These honestly melt in your mouth! I usually drench my pancakes in syrup and choke them down, but these required verry little syrup and they were so light and fluffy. My husband just raved about them and told me not to lose this recipe!! YUMMY!
