Fluffy Pancakes

these were good and chewy, which I like. I would say, however, that this recipe serves 2-3 people, not 4 however.

Pumpkin Bread Pudding

Amazing. I loved this. so moist and delicious. OMG nomzies. I used 1 C whole milk instead of so milk. and 6 cups cubed white bread instead of French bread. I also put it in a 13 x 9 in. pan and baked for 45 mins. So moist and gooey! love it. Made it a day ahead of time and reheated for guests. I served it with no sugar whipped cream. Incredible. Definitely making again.

Pumpkin Cake III

Made a bundt cake so I had to bake for 50 minutes. Besides that, I followed the directs to a tee. I topped with a cream cheese and whipped cream mix topping. I really like how moist the cake turned out.

Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
These turned out excellent. I made cupcakes- baked at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. I used one tablespoon pumpkin spice instead of the spice mix the recipe called for. I also made my own pumpkin puree instead of a canned one.

Sweet Potato Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
used evaporated milk instead of condensed. Used pumpkin pie spice instead of nutmeg (didn't have nutmeg on hand). Had to bake for an additional 15 minutes, because pie wasn't fully baked. Only complaint is that pie turned out way too sweet.

Cherry Pie IV

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
I thought this pie was fine. Didn't love it like so many people did here. I used canned tart cherries. Maybe that's why. Next time I'll use fresh cherries and see if that will make the difference. I also used a store bought crust.

Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies

These came out pretty dang good. Followed the recipe, but left out raisins though. I might make these again. I baked them for 12 minutes, but I made each cookie larger than recommended.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

OMG this was amazing!!!! I loved it. I followed the the recipe to the tee. Only advice would be to use tons less breadcrumbs. I used 1/2 C, but it was still too much. I would use tons less.

Lower Fat Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
Yummy! This was sooooo amazing. Followed the recipe apart from adding some cinnamon + nutmeg and an extra banana. yummy in my tummy as well as the tummies of my roommates. Edit: Just made this again and I didn't have vegetable oil nor milk, so I substituted one tablespoon veg oil for 1 TB olive oil. and I substituted the milk for rice milk (+ another tablespoon of olive oil). I know this may sound weird, but I had to work with what I got. In the end, it still tasted fantastic! Oo, like usual, I used 3 bananas instead of two.

These cookies came out well. I didn't give them five stars because they were just very basic....nothing too special- I followed the recipe exactly...just added a pinch of cinnamon.

wow, simple is really the best. used 1/2C butter, and the same am't of milk, next time will use more milk and less butter for a healthier meal. added 4 cloves of garlic and some garlic powder, plus doubled the salt. will definitely make again....absolutely loved it.

Makeover Garlic Spinach Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I thought they were just okay. My guests seemed to like them a great deal though. What I did differently: 2 cloves instead of one bread crumbs instead of stuffing and I heated up some spaghetti sauce for the dipping option. --I made these because I bought already made spinach balls from whole foods and they were amazing, so I wanted to try to find a recipe to make for myself. The ones from Whole Foods were ten times better. These were okay.

Pilgrim Pumpkin Pie

I didn't make the crust-i did store bought. I added some extra sugar as suggested by some to make it sweeter. Next time I will diefinitely not add extra sugar--it was too sweet. I thought that the texture was fabulous! yum- very smooth. will make again. honey whipped cream was also tasty. very impressed.

Honey Chicken Stir-Fry

It was okay. Definitely not spectacular. I used 3 cloves of garlic, a pinch of ginger powder, and some extra soy sauce. Even with these additions, I thought that it was just somewhat flavorful. Would probably not make again.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
Made 12 huge muffins! Needed to bake for 22 minutes. I used 4 bananas. I substituted 1/3 C oil for the butter, as suggested by many. Remember not to mix the banana mixture too much. Also when mixing banana and flour mixtures, don't mix too much! Next time I make this recipe i will add even another banana because I love the flavor oh so much!

I didn't use almonds and cilantro because i didn't have it on hand. I still enjoyed this-it was very rich in flavor! maybe a little too rich.

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
Came out well. I used 4 big bananas. I baked at 325 degrees as suggested by one of the reviewers because I used a glass pan. I also baked it on the lower rack. In addition I added some dark chocolate pieces to the top. It wasn't necessary, but I'm a chocolate fan. I felt that there was not enough bananas. I would add another banana.

Lentil Soup III

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
Yum! Super easy. Here are some things I did differently. I used 4 cloves of garlic (instead of two). I sauted the onions and added one chopped carrot. I also added two pinches each of curry powder, garlic powder, and chille powder. In addition I added three tablespoons of salsa verde (Trader Joes!). Next time I would have used less broth (maybe just 1C less). The next day it tasted great-better than the day I made it. Note: I used chicken bullion, which i found made the soup tons more flavorful.
