Macaroni and Tomatoes

I LOVE this! I've never had macaroni and tomatoes, and had never even thought to try such a combination. It turned out excellent! If you like tomatoes, go for it. I want to say that it's ALMOST as good as plain ol' mac and cheese. I altered the recipe a little bit and added: -1 medium red pepper chopped -2 tablespoons of bacon bits -1/4 cup cheddar, mix in a little and top the macaroni with remaining cheese.

Herbed Pork Chops in Mushroom Sauce

Ugh, bland and more bland. If I decide to use this recipe again, I'll definitely add more spices to it. It cooked up fine, but there was simply no taste. If you want this recipe to turn out well, use more spice and add some salt and pepper.

This recipe is FANTASTIC. I made this for my family and there weren't any leftovers at the end of the meal. It's flavorful, but the bacon-y goodness doesn't really shine through. Next time, I might try adding more bacon. A really great and easy meal; not to mention cheap.

Porcupines

When I looked over the ingredient list for Porcupines, I was really excited to see how the rice would taste in the meatballs. When I cooked them, the rice was nice and soft in the center, but hard and crispy on the top. I wasn't really fond of how it all turned out and my boyfriend (whose idea of a good dinner is Hamburger Helper) didn't seem to care for it much ether.

Blueberry Scones

So, I followed this recipe exactly..and the batter did end up being a bit wet and lump. I feel like the baking powder that they ask for is wayyy too much. It makes them taste salt, but not unbearable. This is my first time cooking it, so I'll try out some new things next time (ie more flour and less baking powder)
