Banana Oat Muffins

Used half whole wheat flour, half white flour. Added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Added 1 cup of fresh blueberries, and topped with walnuts.

Grilled Salmon with Dill Sauce

I made the sauce, and covered a skinless salmon fillet with it, wrapped in foil, and barbecued for about 15 mins. It was so simple, and pretty good. A very easy Monday night recipe!

Oatmeal Blueberry Muffins

I followed the substitution of others... using apple sauce instead of oil, using half whole wheat flour, and brown sugar. Doubled the recipe. Cooked at 400 for 20 minutes. Next time I will definitely add cinnamon.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Best stuffing! I was so worried about finding a great stuffing recipe, after my failed attempt last year (it was awful). But this recipe is so fool proof and everyone loved it! As other's have noted, if you are using dried bread crumbs from the baker, 2 cups of broth is likely enough.I think I used about 2 1/4, and it was perfect. Start out with 2 cups, and you can always add as it cooks! Yummm yummmm...I want to make this again! I can't wait until the next holiday. Oh and I cooked it on low for about 4.5 hours, and also mixed everything really well.

Best Carrot Cake Ever

I made this cake for my mom's birthday... she is a carrot cake lover! I made the recipe exactly as it is written and EVERYONE loved it. I even loved it and I'm not crazy about carrot cake! And this recipe will feed 16 easily! I made 3 layers using 9x2inch pan. Delicious! No alterations needed.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I used one person's idea of using Bailey's instead of milk, and I didn't really enjoy it. I'll have to try this recipe again just as is. Oh, and I also used that same person's recipe for the graham crust... gross! 1/4 cup of butter is waaaaaaay too much for the crust. But the person who said leave the cheesecake in the oven and don't touch it... they are right. It won't crack if you do that. But be careful with the cooking time... in my oven, 1 hour was too long. I'll try 50 minutes next time and turn oven off and let the cheesecake sit in the oven for a few hours.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

I made this exactly as shown, and it was quite delicious and very quick to make. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is because I think it's maybe a tad too much bread crumbs. But that's just my opinion. I'll definitely be making this one again!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

OMG!! So good!! Really, really, really great! I am known for making cakes and baking all sorts of things, and this by far is the best thing I have ever baked! Stuck to recipe, used baileys for the liquer and espresso instead of brewed coffee. This was the last dessert of 2009, and it was the best dessert of 2009!!

Grandma's Corn Pudding

So easy! Made this as is, no changes, and with 10 ppl over for dinner it was loved by all! I would mix the cornstarch with a bit of cold milk and then add, rather than try to whisk into bowl.

Lemon Garlic Mushrooms

DELICIOUS!!! I added some extra seasoning (mr.dash garlic and herbs as well as fresh dill)... and lots of fresh ground pepper. These are to die for if you LOVE mushrooms!

Pink Sauce for Pasta (Shrimp)

Very very peppery. If you like pepppery/spicy taste, you'll like it. If not... try making it with waaaaaaaaaaaaaay less mustard seed. Other than that, excellent.
