Tropical Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
This was great!!... Especially when my husband asked me to bake another one. Just about every dessert he eats has to contain chocolate, like chocolate cake, chocolate brownies, chocolate candy etc. But he really loves this one. Thanks for posting.

Pennsylvania Coal Region Barbecue

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
This recipe is AWESOME. The only change I made was to add a chopped green bell pepper, because my husband loves them. If I could give this more then 5 stars, I would. After eating it as a sandwich, I decided to try putting it over cooked noodles, Yummy, I am not sure which way I like it better.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
I am giving this 3 stars, because my husband loved the sauce. But the chops were so dry, that I didn't eat them and he only had 1, usually, he has at least 2 chops.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I have made these cookies numerous times. They are AWESOME. I follow the directions to the tee, although sometime I change the flavor of the preserves..but, I find that raspberry is always the best!!..I have never had any leftover cookies when I display them.

Homemade Irish Cream

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
This is absolutely amazing, I think I like it better then the original. I will be making some for each of my children, (they are all in their 40's). The only thing I warn anyone about it is, that it contains raw egg. It has not stopped anyone from having some. Simply DELICIOUS.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I made this stuffing for the first time. I added some to the turkey and cooked the rest in the slow cooker. Everyone loved it. The slow cooker method tasted every bit as wonderful as the stuffing that I put in the bird. This is my new favorite recipe for Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you for this post.

This was awesome...Especially if you love "sweet"...and I do. I am making this todayfor my son's birthday. Something different then the usual birthday cake. Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

Reviewed: May 26, 2009
This is the first thing that is requested when I am asked to bring something at an outing or party..It is so yummy. I doubled the recipe for the last get-together. And it was gone, right away, I baked it, and then put it in a slow cooker to keep it warm, and i had pieces of fresh pumpernickle and fresh rye bread..I would highly recommend it. I did mix in some mozzarella cheese with the swiss cheese

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
Super, wonderful recipe. I did add walnuts and a bit more cinnamon and cloves. I have made several loaves and froze some for later. I haven't tasted the frozen ones yet, but I am sure they freeze well. My husband went nuts over this bread. It has become a family favorite. LOVE IT!!!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
This bread was so great, that I went out and bought another bread machine, I now have 2, so I can make 2 loaves at once. The one thing I did change was to put it on the dough cycle, and when that is complete, I put it in a loaf pan and put it in the oven that has been preheated to 200 degrees and turned off. I cover it with a tea towel and let it rise for 20 minutes..I then remove it from the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees and then bake the bread for 30 minutes...soooo delicious. I have not bought store bread since I discovered this recipe.

Shrimp with Lobster Sauce

Reviewed: May 10, 2005
This was just great. A forever keeper. It was easy to prepare and quick. My husband and I tried it and loved it. Can't wait for more family members to visit so I can serve it to them. Also, for more flavor, I used canned chicken stock instead of plain water. Much better taste.
