Jo's Rosemary Bread

Used 3/4 tbsp fresh rosemary and added oregano. This bread is fantastic, though we preferred the oven baked loaf to the bread machine (we tried it both ways).

Plain and Simple Sourdough Bread

My starter is new and not especially sour yet, but this recipe keeps producing consistently delicious bread. It has a medium density texture and keeps well for at least 4 days.

Pioneer Cut Dumplings from the 1800's

These were perfect. I added parsley to the dough before rolling it out. I love heavy dumplings and these delivered...tasty and easy!

Basil Cream Sauce

My other half loved this. I took the advice of others and sauteed mushrooms and garlic, then added the cream. Next time we are adding prosciutto.

Blue Cheese, Bacon and Chive Stuffed Pork Chops

We loved these chops. As recommended, added some feta and parmesan cheese and stuffed 4 chops with the same amount of filling. Paired them with the Herb Roasted Vegetables and Lemon Basil Carrots also from this site. Delicious!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

This recipe was tasty, but I enjoyed the baked asparagus more without the butter sauce. I switched the amounts of soy sauce and vinegar as suggested.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

I used a mortar and pestle and added sea salt as I blended. I also added oil as needed, so didn't use the full amount. This tasted excellent tossed with linguini.

Herb Roasted Vegetables

Lentil Soup III

This was fantastic! I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I followed other reviewers' suggestions and doubled the garlic, sauteed the onions and garlic, added a little curry and 2 bay leaves, and used vegetable base and chicken bouillon instead of broth. This is going on my short list.
