Simple Sugar Cookies

I decorated my cookies with vanilla frosting, so I substituted the lemon extract with vanilla. The honey is a great addition, and they turn out really crispy and keep forever.

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies spread a lot and seem very greasy, which is okay sometimes but I prefer to subsitute vegetable shortening for half of the butter.

Mmm! Mmm! Good! The crunchy-sweet topping was the best I've ever had, and the orange juice isn't as prominent as I thought it would be. I thought 5 apples was a bit too many, so 4 would probably be good.

Apple Scones

The scones were really good! They were kind of too gooey on the inside, I don't think I should have added as much milk as I did. Knead before deciding to add anything more--that's where I messed up.

Old Fashioned Fudge Cookies

These cookies didn't taste like fudge, but BOY ARE THEY GOOD! I made them for a big group because they made about 50 cookies, and they were gone that same day. Really chocolatey, and they have that crunchy-soft feel. I dipped them in sugar before baking...they didn't spread all that much so they're kind of small.

Spiced Yogurt Pound Cake

This was a GREAT cake and I know I'm going to use it for tea breads all the time since it doesn't really have a cake consistency. It's really firm and moist, but my 1 complaint is that you can taste the yoghurt in it. Some people like that, though.

Potato Pizza

squeeze the potatoes, because my crust was actually very mushy. Also, use the potatoes right away before they turn grey.

White Chocolate Blondies

These are soooo good, no wonder they're so fattening! They took me about 45 minutes overall including cleanup. I didn't use the semisweet chocolate chips in them, and they were still fine.
