Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

FABULOUS! I used this for the 1st time today and am so happy I found this recipe. I did add a packet of "whip it" so it would be easy to pipe. Worked great.

Seven Layer Magic Cookie Bars

these are some of our favorite bars. the only thing I do different is to add a layer of crispy rice cereal over the nut layer. out of this world good!

Apple Bars

These bars are wonderful and made the kitchen smell incredible while baking. I don't have a decent 8x8 pan to bake in, so I changed the serving size to 24 and baked it in a 9x9 square pan for the same 40 minutes. Baked perfectly, moist and a little sugary crunch to the top. I have a feeling it will be even better after a couple days.

Crazy Cake

Awesome cake! Followed this recipe to a T, made the batter into cupcakes. They were so moist, everyone raved over them. I had to use apple cider vinegar in place of white. All I had in the house. And used about 2/3 cup of cocoa powder. Came out very dark and luscious!

Creamy Frosting

This was excellent!! My very first successful attempt at a fluffy frosting. Very easy to make. Takes a bit of time but you need to be patient and let the paste come to full thickness then cool. Will come out perfectly. I used evaporated milk and it was great!

Sour Cream Chocolate Frosting

This is the 1st time ever I have had sucess making frosting! Thrilled with how easy it was and the excellent taste. Made the eclair cake for this site and didn't have a canned frosting. This was SO easy and good I will not use canned again for chocolate frosting. Thanks!

Blueberry Streusel Coffee Cake

Very good cake! I had to make a small change do to running out of milk. I used 1 cup sour cream and half a cup of vanilla soy milk. Came out SO tender and rich. My new favorite recipe for blueberries.

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Very easy to make, came out perfectly. I didn't use the full amount of brownie batter, like some previous reviewers. Gave me the right amount of crust to cheesecake ratio. Also dusted the chocolate chips with flour so they didn't sink in the batter. Got rave reviews!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Outstanding!!!! Made these for the first time yesterday. They are so good, it's scary. I cooked my shortbread in a foil lined pan, cooled then added the caramel topping and cooled. When fully chilled, I removed from pan, cut into pieces then poured melted chocolate on top of them. I have bad luck cutting chocolate when cooled, and this method was great.

Twice-Baked Ranch Potatoes

I thought this recipe was great! The only thing is the mashed potatoes. After removing the filling from the baked potatoes, I had a ton of filling already. There was no need to add additional mashed potatoes. I left that part out and kept everything else the same. Great flavor and everyone raved!

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

I made the yellow variation per the recipe the first time. The second time I made changes as suggested by another reviewer. I increased the milk a half cup and used canola oil in place of shortening. The 2nd time was awesome, they came out light and fluffy. With the changes this recipe becomes 5 stars easily!

I received so many raves for this cheesecake! Everyone went crazy over it! I used reduced fat cream cheese (all I had on hand) and kept everything else the same. It was light and creamy a wonderful recipe, thanks!

Buttery Spritz Cookies

Very easy dough to work with. I used this recipe for my first time using a cookie press. My press was a little tempermental, but the dough was fabulous! Instead of almond extract I used coconut extract to do something a little different. Can't wait to share these!
