The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
Easy recipe to follow & to make your own. I usually add vanilla & allspice & cinnamon! I am trying it with cinnamon applesace this time instead of margarine. I also added chopped almonds! Yummy! :)

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
This was delicious! My picky husband & picky sons loved this. I only used 2 cups of sugar maybe less & used allspice & cinnamon but a ton of it. Oh & I used 1/2 a cup of oil & 1/2 cup of apple sauce instead of a whole cup of oil. It was so good & moist!!

Traditional Italian Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
This recipe was great! I used spicy breakfast sausage, left out the bay leaves(couldn't find any), bell pepper, and olives. It still turned out great :). Very moist & delish! I used water but may try white wine next year.

Vegan Curried Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
I used brown rice instead and it took A LOT longer. I did not realize this but that was my fault. This recipe does require more water even if you are using white rice, because you need twice the amount of water to rice. I also used a chicken bouillon cube instead. Overall it was good, I added more curry too :).

Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
This recipe was awesome! I used ground turkey instead, Hunts pasta sauce(original) and I had twice the amount of crushed tomatoes so I left out the tomato puree. I also did not have parsley so I added some oregeno and garlic powder to the sauce. It was really good, next time I want to add some more herbs. Also I did not have italian bread crumbs, I had original so I added tonys seasoning and it was delish!

Homemade Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
This is the best pumpkin pie I have ever had!!! I only made the filling though and bought a gram cracker crust. Instead of boiling the pumpkin I baked it the night before and then cut it away from the skin and stored it overnight in tupperware.(Also the pumpkin was the leftover from us carving & it still came out good!!) Instead of mashing the pumpkin I blended it with some of the evaporated milk which gave it a nice consistency. I also used a tablespoon of allspice instead of nutmeg and only added a few sprinkles of cinnamon and 1/2 a teaspoon of ginger. I will be making this pie again and again!!! :)

Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
I loved this recipe! The patties turned out perfectly, although it doesn't really taste like a typical hamburger but still delish! My fiance doesn't like onions much so he didn't like all that much. I however loved it :)

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
It was so good! I took a little advice and used 1 cup of rolled oats instead and 3/4 a cup of bread crumbs. I added green onion as well and sauted the onions and garlic. I also used 2 cloves of garlic as well. For my side dish I had yellow potatoes roasted with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Oh and I'd scratch the tomato sauce and stick with ketchup.
