Savory Kale, Cannellini Bean, and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Great soup! I changed a few things and it still came out really well. I used more chicken broth, used sweet potatoes instead and omitted the pepper. It still came out great. super healthy bowl of soup perfect for the cold weather!

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
I had a large package of hot dogs to use and was trying to find a creative way to prepare them. I made this at a dinner party and they turned out dry, but were at hit at the party because it was so absurd. Everyone tried one, and got a really good laugh, but no one said they were good. I have a feeling that if they are requested again it will be for the comedic satisfaction and not because they were very appetizing.

Pizza Pinwheels

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
I had a dinner party and I could barely get them onto the serving plate before my brother ate most of them. I did change a few things, but this is a very versatile recipe idea. I grated the pepperoni and added a little ricotta cheese so that when it was rolled up the cheese was in the center. I also made a vegetarian version with spinach and ricotta as well as the mozzarella in the center. I wish I made more! They were gone before most of the guests even arrived...

Easy Spinach Lasagna with White Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
I made this for a dinner party and it was great! I changed just a few things by following some of the older reviews. I put chopped broccoli with the mushrooms instead of carrots, and I used half bertoli alfredo and half jarred alfredo so save some money. I also but some garlic butter in the alfredo sauce to give it more flavor and I excluded the milk because I wanted it to be thicker. I made it for my vegitarian friends and my boyfriend who usually shys away from anything green, really enjoyed it. Thanks for the great idea!

Breakfast Pizza I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Great recipe! I took the suggestion of cooking the hasbrowns a bit before adding them to the pizza, and I bought unfrozen hasbrowns that I found by the eggs. I also added churizo sausage with maple breakfast sausage to add some more flavor. Great idea and one slice is soooo filling which is great I was afraid I wouldn't have enough!

Taco Potato Shells

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
This is a great recipe! The only thing that I changed was I used ground turkey and a cheesy taco seasoning. I also put the meat in the shells and melted the cheese on top but set aside tomatoes, sour cream, green onions and black olives. This way its was more like a taco bar so everyone could dress them for thier own taste! Thanks so much for the great and very filling spin on taco night!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2007
FIFTEEN STARS!! Perfect meal. I only made one pound becuase I was unsure how I would like it, I should have cooked all three! It fell apart and just metled in your mouth. I put them on buns that I buttered and put in the oven to make nice and toasty. My boyfriend and my roomates loved it too. Thanks so much!

White Wine Almond Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2007
I loved this meal. My sauce was a little thinner then I would have liked, but the flavor was really good.
