Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
I have been looking for a recipe like this, as these are one of my favorite squares! I often used to buy them at bakesales, and bakeries, but now I can make them at home. I made these the other day, omitting the nuts and coconut, as I have never had either in these squares when I've purchased them, and my daughter and LOVED them. They were just right. And since I omitted the nuts and coconut, I added another cup of marshmallows instead. It was great! Thank you!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2008
This recipe has been on the back of Kraft peanut butter jars for years. They are really good cookies. For those who gave it a bad review..perhaps it was the type of peanut butter used. I often add 1/2 - 1 c. chocolate chips, a handful of oatmeal or chopped walnuts, or a combination of these ingredients. Next, I will try it with butterscotch chips, maybe 3/4 c., and see how those are. I also use less sugar, maybe 3/4 c. They are very versatile, easy to mix and match.

Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I made this for my beef stew this evening and it was just what I was looking for...it came out nice and light and fluffy. I added some rosemary, because I didn't have parsley, pepper, and an extra tbsp of butter. I have been looking for a good dumpling recipe for a long time, and this is it...Thanks for posting it!

Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2007
I made this tonight and my family loved it! I followed the recipe, but I added 1/2 c. chopped pecans, and I read that it was a little dry, so I also used 1/2 brown sugar, and 1/2 white sugar, and 3 tbsp of vanilla yogurt...not enough to change the flavor, but enough to moisten it just a bit. I added 4 across the top to dress it up. It turned out beautifully. Thank you.

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I have had fry bread all of my life, and I never once used so much shortening! You could also use a nice light oil...

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
Tried this recipe with my daughter. We used 6 large bananas and it still wasn't quite enough, but it turned out anyway... we also added a handful of cranberry/raisin/pumpkin seed/ sunflowerseed trail mix to the batter. Its good!
