Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
These were amazing! I've never made pretzels before so I wasn't sure what to expect the first time around. I followed another reviewer's recommendations on less flour and less baking soda in the water, and they didn't turn out pretzel like, more like a bread texture. So the second time around I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out wonderful! They had the crunchy, soft texture I was looking for. I sprinkled some with sea salt, some with cinnamon and sugar, and some with ranch seasoning. So good!

Chicken Lasagna II

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
This was very good. I also used spinach in it as well to add some more color and texture. My husband raved about this...said it was better than my regular lasagna! He hasn't stopped talking about it since we've had it.

Hot Fudge Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I made this a bit differently. Used 3 squares of chocolate, 3 Tbsp butter, 2 c. sugar and 1 can evap. milk. It would always turn out grainy like the chocolate would not mix with the milk correctly, until tonight when I figured out the secret! I poured it into my blender and processed it until smooth, and it was perfect! Yum, homemade hot fudge sauce is the best!

Ham Tetrazzini

Good recipe- I added extra cheese, kept out the pimento and parsley, and also added some broccoli florets for veggies. My kids really liked it!

Best Football Dip Ever

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
I've been making this for years and I make it often. So easy and so good! I mix the salsa in with the cooked ground beef mixture to soften the veggies just a bit and pour the whole thing over the cream cheese. I also use mexican blend shredded cheese instead of the cheese slices. I serve it hot from the oven with shredded lettuce, sour cream, and taco sauce, along with the tortilla chips. THE BEST!!!

Pumpkin Pie Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2008
Very good, but kinda mushy. Might have been my fault though, as I used regular canned pumpkin, so I had to mix the filling myself. Might have turned out firmed if I had used the pre-made pumpkin pie filling like the recipe states.

Nutella® Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Excellent! This did not last long in my household. I think next time I'll make it with a chocolate crust and possibly drizzle some raspberry preserves over the top. So good!

Taco Dip I

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
Excellent! I made this for a light lunch today for my kids and I and they LOVED it. Having 2 semi-picky toddlers, this is a huge thing. Very good, except like one other person commented, the cream cheese balls up (I even mixed it well first). I'm thinking a blend in the food processor would take care of it, next time I will use that. I didn't use olives or pepper, just cheese, lettuce and I drizzled taco sauce on top instead of tomatoes. Still, very good! Doesn't take away from the dish at all though.. very good, very quick, very easy and a nice cold taco dip for a warm day.
