Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
I used the modified amounts of sugar and peanut butter and was amazed. This fudge was excellent. I folled the instructions exactly, using an electric mixed to blend the peanut beuuter mixture and the confectioners sugar. Smooth as silk and oh so good. I'm thinking I may try layering it with a bit of chocolate for a "reeses fudge cup". I will make this over and over. Thanks a million!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
This was my first attempt at making "real" fudge. I was a bit worried that something would go wrong, but was very pleased with the end result. Everything cooked up perfectly and the fudge was fantastic. Creamy, smooth, and not to rich as to keep you from enjoying it again and again. I will make this over and over. Thanks!!

Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
After reading all the reviews for this, I decided to try it out. I used half milk chocolate and half semi sweet as some others suggested. I was a little disappointed with the final product. While it tastes very good. It does not taste like fudge to me. To me it was just really yummy chocolate. But my kids loved helping to make it, and my mom thought it was great. So, while I will continue looking for that perfect fudge recipe, I will be making this again when the kids want to make desert.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
I made this tonight for dinner and I was blown away! I have never tried to make stroganoff before. (besides that stuff in the box) This was AMAZING! I left out the onions just because I dont like them, and the wine since I didnt have an on hand and left the meat simmer for a little longer than the hour. It was so tender it was almost falling apart. I will make this again! Thanks for sharing!

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2007
This was the first time I have ever tried to make a pie from scratch. Many times I have gotten the canned fillings but never anything like this. I was very pleased with the out come. I did use a purchased crust, which I will not do in the future, but it was good. It was not as sweet as I thought it would be, but still very good. I did *not* use the lemon juice (I didnt have any) and the filling was very thick. I will try this recipe again with the lemon juice and a homemade crust and see how things are. But even as it is, the pie is very yummy!

Hawaii Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
I made this recipe last night for dinner, and it was a bit hit. My husband suggested next time using boneless chicken (but dosent like having bones in anything he eats) I would say to at least double if not triple the sauce as others suggested. I used thighs instead of the whole chiken, and did not have enough of the flour mixture to coat the chicken in but I assume that is because I hade more pieces. I only added a sprinkle of salf, as I was worried about the other comments about it being too salty and didnt have any issue at all. It was a GREAT recipe and I will be making it again witout a doubt. Thanks so much!

Golden Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
I think I must have done something wrong with these cookies. They tasted very good, but they were very very thin and did not rise at all. I am wondering is something was wrong with the baking soda I used. I did double the amount of vanilla, and used maragine spread instead of butter. I am not sure if that would have made a difference or not. All in all, I will try them again and see if it goes better.
