Best Brownies
This recipe was excellent. I doubled it for a 9X11 size. The only thing I changed was to add some corn syrup to the frosting. I probably doubled the liquid portion of the frosting to get an acceptable consistency. I know the recipe says not to overcook, and I cannot stress that enough. I agree with another person who suggested 25 minutes was long enough. And, yes I did mix it by hand. I decided I was a little out-of-shape, but it came together fine. I do want to try the lowfat version that another reviewer suggested. Guests loved the original, however.

Lemon Lush
I thought it was great, especially on a hot day. The only changes I made, per other suggestions, was to add 1/2 chopped walnuts to the crust, 2 T. fresh squeezed lemon juice to the cream cheese layer, and substituted about 1/4 cup of the milk with 1/4 cup fresh squeeze lemon juice. I think the tartness made the day feel a bit cooler.Oh, I also used whole milk rather than the low fat milk that I normally use. I thought this would make it richer. Guests loved the final result.

Tortellini Bacon Broccoli Salad
This is awesome, and it's always nice to have a recipe that can be made a day ahead. The only thing I did that wasn't in the recipe was that I steamed the broccoli for 30-60 second to set the color to a beautiful green and to make it less tough to the bite. Also, this will serve many more than 10 people. I served it as a side to 20 people and still had lots left. However, it keeps well and we still enjoyed it later.
