About this Cook
I'm a Christian first. A husband second. And a father third. I love my country and I'm grateful for my job. I've got the best mother in the world and my in-laws couldn't be better people. Love my family! I take great joy in working out and learning new things.
My favorite things to cook
- Catherines spicy chicken soup - Grilled Sockeye Salmon - Taco Salad - Chicken N Dumplings
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom made the best Taco salad with "western" dressing. She also taught me how to make chicken n dumplings. Tip: for dumplings, use "Grands" buttermilk biscuts torn into thirds. Boil soup with dumplings on top for the last 15 min. Flip the dumplings over halfway through.
My cooking tragedies
I once coated a very expensive Yellowfin Tuna steak with a whole package of onion soup mix. It was so terrible that I couldn't eat it...let alone enjoy it!

Tartar Sauce II
Best tartar suace I've ever had. This one is better than Frische's. Thier's is so good, I make a special trip to order their $5 fish sandwich...all because of the tartar. This is Better! Excellent taste. This tartar sauce has a nice balance of spices and mayo that packs a real punch! This is great because you can use a smaller portion of this unhealthy condiment and not feel like you are getting cheated!

Barbecue Ribs
I made these ribs and then shredded the pork to make pulled pork sandwitches. Awesome. Carefull to get rid of bones, fat, and cartilage. Cole loved them. Every bit as good as City BBQ but takes some time!

Asian Lettuce Wraps
Awesome! Almost as good as PF Changs. Takes a lot of time to prepare. Use green leaf lettuce rather than iceberg.
