This is a fabulous snack. It goes great in lunch boxes and just a bowl for the little ones. I use chocolate chips instead of white if I don't have white on hand. Can also add peanuts to add a salty taste to it.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

I did 1/2 butter 1/2 shortening and it was wonderful. My mom makes wonderful pies and she just raved about the crust being so flaky. I am using this for all my pies from now on.

All Day Apple Butter

I did as the others said and cut the sugar. My whole family has just raved about it. I used a hand held mixer to puree and it was easy.

Potato Soup IV

This was wonderful. I have family that can not have wheat or gluten and I can make this with butter and keep it gluten free. I added ham and carrots for a change. Very good!!!!
