About this Cook
I am a mother of 4 and work full time so most meals through the week are quick and easy but when i cook a full meal i like to go all out and make it great
My favorite things to cook
I have to say my I LOVE to bake cookies for the holidays and give cookie trays to the family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Aunts PB fudge it has been handed over and over to family members and i think the only ones that really make it now is my grandma and myself.
My cooking triumphs
The thing i most remember is cooking my first roast when i was 12. I hate Deer meat and i asked my dad what kind of roast it was and he told me Beef I didnt know the difference after eating it and liking it. I was told it was Deer meat - GROSS! Yes I am a country girl but i dont like Venison I know I'm weird like that.
My cooking tragedies
I have never really had a Tradegy per say. I have never burned a turkey or messed up a family dinner. But i have burned things or overcooked stuff.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles
Good recipe simple to make. I got in over my head with cookie recipes so by the time I got to bake this recipe it was too late so I rolled the peanut balls and left them in the fridge overnight until I was ready the next day to make batter and use them. It was very easy to roll dough around them so I recommend have them cold I think it helped them keep there shape while rolling dough. I also made some with without rolling the dough around the PB instead I just rolled the dough stuck my thumb in it and put the PB in the middle and baked then because the PB was tacky after they cooled I melted some milk chocolate and frosted over top the PB and let harden. YUMMY! Family agreed those we're better than the original.

Holiday Ambrosia Salad
I use acini pasta in this. It is wonderful but Acini is hard to find in my area so this year i am going to try Tapioca pasta balls. Wish me luck i am sure it will be fine but we will see. Happy Thanksgivign all.

Chocolate Crinkles II
I make these every year for christmas since i got the recipe from a betty crocker cookbook in 1998. I add 1 Tbsp. instant coffee and it gives them a hint of coffee flavor and i get rave reviews i am always asked to make them every year.
