Pretty sure I could just eat this with a spoon! SO good. I typically like a more "vinegary" sauce, like Arthur Bryant's (For those in KC) but this is fantastic! Sweet, but not too sweet. Thank you, Alan!

Alicia's Aloo Gobi

This was yum! I'm not really big into Indian food, but was searching for recipes with a lot of turmeric. It's supposed to help prevent alzheimer's, which runs in my family. Anyhow, the only changes I made was to cut the cayenne in half, left out cardamom because I didn't have any, and left out garam masala, because it seemed perfect! It was spicy for me, so I added a dollop of sour cream (like someone else mentioned) and it was SO good over rice. Thanks!

Traditional Salisbury Steak

Oh my goodness, this was amazing! I don't know if I've even had Salisbury Steak before, other than the lunchroom as a kid (eek). It was so easy and delicious. I originally forgot to flour the patties. So one side was a little browned, before I dumped some flour on both sides. Then there were so many yummy browned bits in the pan, I had to leave some (most) in for the gravy, and tried to drain the grease around them. Not low fat I'm sure, but SO good! Thank you-

This was so good and simple! I had everything on hand. I added about a can of V8 because I like my chili a little soupier. Even with that it was still pretty thick. Thanks!

Hot Cranberry Tea

I've tried a couple of these cranberry tea recipes on here, and this is my favorite. It's more about the cranberry, and less about the other juices. It smells like Christmas, and I like the clearer red color! I cut the sugar down to 1 cup, and then add a couple of teaspoons of sugar to one large mug, to taste.

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

I think the reason some of the reviewers find the sauce bland is because, as they said, they baked the meatballs first. Much of the flavor comes from cooking the meat in the sauce! Healthy? Probably not, but it sure is good! Not a fan of the canned spaghetti sauce. You can avoid it with some tomato paste, or sauce and a few spices/garlic, touch of sugar!

Romaine Rice Tuna Salad

Delicious! I made this twice over the weekend - so good! I only made two small changes, brown rice rather than white, and a touch of sesame oil in the dressing. The sesame oil, combined with the vinegar almost gave it a sushi-like taste. OK, that's a bit of a stretch, but much less expensive, and it may satisfy a sushi craving! Thank you!

Crustless Cranberry Pie

This was good, especially warm. It reminded me of a cranberry quick bread I had made before. But using a pie plate, and topping with whipped cream, made it a little different. Thanks.

Delicious! I used ranch, because I thought I would have better odds of my son eating it. Either way would be great! thank you! Also, I used Taco Season (I) from this site as I had no taco seasoning packets at home.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This is delicious! Dont think I changed a thing, except to mix some of the sauce in the apples, prior to putting the crust on top. Also had to cover the outer edge of the crust with foil the last few minutes of baking, as it was getting too dark. Thank you for sharing!

Snow Flakes

This was great dough to work with, and I love the orange zest. I really didn't like the taste of these, it's the cream cheese "tang" at the end. I had to give it four stars though, because of the dough being so perfect. If you don't like the taste of cream cheese frosting (which I don't and should have known better) I wouldn't recommend these. Otherwise, great spritz recipe!

Fresh Cranberry Spiced Tea

This was delicious! I made it just for me and my little son, not a special occasion. So now it's in my fridge and it has been hard to only have one big mug a night! Actually I am sitting at work now with a snow storm on the way, wishing I had a thermos of the tea! YUM! Thank you for sharing!
