Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Made this today. I also added 1 egg, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 TBS of apple pie spice, 2 TBS of vegetable oil. It baked in 25 minutes. I topped with cream cheese frosting. It was delicious and did not taste like a box cake at all!

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
Tastes great! I had to tweak the recipe as I could not find tomatillos or salsa verde at my local market. I also added a can of mixed ready to eat beans. I used frozen sweet corn. And I added a small can of fire roasted tomatoes. I cut up a large green pepper and I used half a jar of diced jalapenos instead of green chiles. Thanks!

I loved this recipe. I used a spray on olive oil found at the local grocery store and sea salt.

Best Guacamole

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
After reading the reviews I altered this recipe a bit. First, I used 4 avocados, guac. goes so fast. I used a half of a larger lime's juice... I added half a diced tomato. I used fresh cilantro (from a clear plastic box found near the veggies at the market). And I used some garlic paste (like 1 tsp). Oh, I did not use any oil either. I am serving this with hint of lime chips. I had 2... o.k. like 5 chips already and they were super delish!

Strawberry Cream Cheese Clouds

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I just made and ate one of these strawberry clouds and I have high hopes my guests tonight will like them as much as I did. I found the frozen pastry puffs near the waffles and the brand was peppridge farm. I noticed they make flat sheets as well and a cake of these could be made quite easily. I followed the recipe to a T. I did not alter a thing. They taste great. Light and airy. I was able to eat the whole thing, imagine that. I could have had another to be honest. This is a great summer dessert and we are pairing it with steak and asparagus. I am also serving a guac. dip with chips before hand. Thanks!

Instant Pistachio Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I used this recipe except I did not drain the crushed pineapple. It turned out fine! I did not add nuts...oh and I used the colored marshmallows. Super fun BBQ dessert salad. Everyone loved it. OH, before I made it I refrigerated the pineapple and don't forget to put the cool whip in the fridge for 4 hours to thaw before making!

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I used this recipe but I did not have mustard powder so I used plan mustard and it worked! I am not sure if this tip is already listed but, use eggs that are a close to being out of date. They peel easier. Also, use an ice bath when cooling. This makes peeling easier as well. My grandmother recommends leaving the eggs out for an hour before boiling as well. Whatever helps! The only bad thing about making deviled eggs is the peeling required! Thanks for the recipe. My husband ate 4!
