Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
This was very good! I served it to my fiance and his friends, and they all gave it thumbs up as well. I used double the salad dressing mix, as reccomended, but I think it still could use a little more spice, maybe the Zesty packets instead, or some green and red peppers.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I used balsmaic vinegar instead, as this is what I had. I also used less than was reccomended and at first I thought wow this is still too much! I added a tiny bit of sugar and after sitting overnight, it's just delicious! I will definitely be making it again when this batch is gone!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This was very good! I even ran out of lemon juice to put in the sauce, and it was still delicious. The chicken turns out perfectly. My only complaint was that it did not seem to make very much sauce, which is not what I expected. My fiance whipped up a cream sauce out of what sauce there was though, which turned out quite nice. We will definitely be having this again!

Hawaiian Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
This was really good! I made a 2 layer cake out of it and put the pudding mixture between the layers and the whipped topping mixture on top as icing. I might try putting pineapple in the cake next time too, but overall, delicious!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
This was delicious! I used chicken broth insead of beer, and I used 1 can of Rotel and 1 of plain diced tomatos, and it was plenty spicy for me! I've been eating it all week for lunch, and occasionally dinner. I froze some too, and it thawed out just fine.I will definitely make this again! I think next time I will put in less chicken and more beans, but that's just my preference.

This was great, and easy! It tastes just like my mom's. I added a can of tomato sauce in near the end to thicken the sauce a little. I used stew meat, green peppers and mushrooms, then served it over mashed potatoes.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
This recipe is great! Like others have mentioned, it definitely is too sweet if you add all of the sugar called for in the recipe, so just cut back the sugar and its perfect! I usually add some Italian Seasoning blend to it as well.

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
This is my favorite new recipe - well kind of.I used a Zesty Italian dressing mix combined with water to cook the chicken in, then add the cream cheese and condensed soup, and fresh mushrooms. I love it over egg noodles. It tastes almost exactly like one of my favorite dishes from a local restaurant.

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
I actually first got this recipe from the magazine. It's one of my favorites. I've found it's good for leftovers too. Last time I tried adding some breadcrumbs to the top before putting it in the oven, but I didn't really think it added much.

Flan de Coco (Coconut Flan)

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
These were reminiscent of the Coconut Flan we had in Costa Rica last year. It turned out very well and was surprisingly easy. I used the coconut milk instead of the evaporated milk as other reviewers suggested. It turned out very smooth and the flavor of coconut was just right!

This was delicious! I have never bought Eye Round Steak before and was looking for a good recipe to use, and this turned out great. My fiance and I both thought it was very good. The only change I made was to add mushrooms.
