Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
Absolutely amazing, and soooooo easy to make. I had EVERYONE going crazy over them and asking for the recipe. I recommend using good quality chocolate on the top (I used Belgian) it really does make all the difference. It is such an amazing treat its a shame to have cheap quality chocolate spoil it. Seriously make this, you wont regret it. I cant emphasise enough how easy it is to make.

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
FANTASTIC recipe!! I'm fussy with my indian food, but this was incredible and a breeze to make. I made a couple of changes. I mixed the chicken with the oil and masala then fried it in the pan that had previously sauteed the onion and garlic for about 5 mins then added the sauce to it. I left it to cook for over an hour then added the cream before serving. I also added a tsp of curry powder and increased the garam masala to 1 tbsp. It was amazing!! I will cut back on the amount of butter next time as it was too much, and the salt wasn't needed. But a very authentic tasting recipe Edit: When making the sauce do not mince the garlic and onion, rather finely chop and fry. Cook with the tomato and spices on low for as many hours as you can (the flavour really comes out) then puree with a wand blender. I manage to use only 2 pans when making this. I am now CONSTANTLY asked to make this and is several of my friends favourite dish that I cook. Thanks so much for this recipe.

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
This cheesecake is fantastic! I make it for Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving every year and it is my husbands favourite. I cheat a little and buy 2 graham cracker pie shells and this mixture makes 2 perfect cheesecakes. To get a flawless result and zero cracking cook for 40 minutes, turn off the oven, open the oven door a few inches and leave in the oven a further 10 minutes. I have made it this way a dozen times and its perfect every time. Everyone raves about this cheesecake, I am currently making 4 right now!! Wonderful Holiday treat. Thanks for the recipe it is now a family favourite!!

Great recipe. Try making this with soft brown sugar for an even yummier caramel taste! Also make extra cinnamon sugar and coat the top. Delicious!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2008
All I can say is "WOW". You MUST make this! I don't think I can eat salmon any other way again. It was so simple to prepare too. I added slices of lemons and a little sweet chilli sauce and marinated for about 8 hours. I also added about a tablespoon of vietnamese fish sauce. I cooked it for 5 minutes each side and it was just perfect. The leftovers were wonderful cold in a sandwich with some mayo. Thank you for a superb recipe that I will be using time and time again. Salmon has never tasted so good. This is also just as awsome if you use chicken. Delish!
