About this Cook
I live with my very handsome, amazing husbnad who loves to have good eats. My two dogs love when Mom & Dad share their meals with them. Lets just say, my dogs eat right!! I am a newlywed, so cooking on a regular basis is new to me, however I began being very interested in cooking meals for friends and family close to 5 years ago. I now LOVE to host parties at our beautiful home. I am a designer for celebrating homes and have started my collection of BEAUTIFUL stoneware.. it's like NO OTHER! I find this to be a wonderful way to bring friends and family together..
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE THAI!! Anything healthy, but also anything that is oh my gosh good!! I look for things that I have never had before.. anything that people will remember me for! :0)
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really don't have any family cooking traditions. Growing up I made my little brother cook for me if my mom didn't make us something.... I put of cooking till my early 20's... Now when people ask if I cook I can say "YES!"
My cooking triumphs
I'm just proud about how much attention I put into my meals. I reaserch for the perfect meals for the group of people I'm serving. It's a complete honor and I love when I hear the table silent with MMMMMM's in between!!!
My cooking tragedies
It was so awesome!! I was doing my first large party.. cooking a crazy amount of food.. I was doing twice backed potatoes and I forgot to poke holes in them.. I opened the oven and began removing the potatoes... with the door open BOOM!!! 2 potatoes exploded! My bestfriends go to watch the whole thing!! I thought I was getting bombed! We still laugh and talk about how awesome it was to watch.. my hubby did the cleaning up! Good man ;0)

A+ Green Bean and Walnut Casserole
It was my first thanksgiving ever having green bean casserole.. I have been missing out! We did have to use celery soup because it was all we had, but it was still soooo yummy!
