This is an excellent recipe for scones, and will now be my one and only scone recipe! We absolutely loved this recipe. The only thing that I did differently, was the way I prepared the ingredients. Like another reviewer suggested, it is best to cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl, mix the sour cream and baking soda in a separate bowl, and mix the dry ingredients in another bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture followed by the sour cream mixture. I added only 2/3 cup of sugar and when the scones came out of the oven I brushed agave syrup over the top.
