Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
I have made my sprouts like this for a while now. The only thing I do differently is I slice mine in half, so the cook faster. And cook mine for 10 min. this flip and cook for a few more mins. And for a bit more indugence drizzle a smidge of melted butter when serving.

Deni's Strawberry Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
Very tasty-but what a mess. I used much less lemon then called for. But it was still soup! I left in the fringe all night. I will try and adjust and try again. Good idea, just not right though.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I love these!!! I have made them a dozen or so times. I always have to add a bit more cream cheese (like half a brick). So the filling isn't too runny. and I use canola instead of olive oil. But man these are yummy!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
I would say 4 1/2 stars. It was really good and super easy. Instead of 2 cans of cream chix soup. I did 1 of chix and 1 of mush. I also add lots of fresh vegggies in the beginning of cooking. They were nice and tender. Yummy.

Tomato Bisque III

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2009
I loved it! It reminds me of Paradise tomato soup. Even my 5 yr old liked dipping his grilled cheese into it. And he never likes ANY soup.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
LOVE THEM!! I just made them and my son told me "Mom those are delicious cookies, they are great!" I did a full tsp of baking soda. Hand mix in the oats and chocolate, Mine did not flatten out. Also be sure your sheet is nice and cool before you bake your next batch. I do have a silpat liner on my baking sheets, so I had to reduce my bake time 2 mins. They were so good, I need to go get another. Thank you for the great recipe!

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
Yum- DH has already requested to have again later this week! I don't think the sauce was too sweet. It was a nice balance of sweet and the tang of the rice vinegar. I definately cut back on the ginger. We just are not big fans of lots of ginger. But other than that we made exactly as is.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
This was great! So easy to put together. I made it recipe as is but I did substitute the beer for chicken broth. I do think that it could stand for a bit more spice (an I'm wimpy to spice) Maybe bit more green chili or some jalapenos. My mom and sis both asked for the recipe.

Paired with the one bowl chocolate cake recipe also from this site. It was heavenly. I halved the recipe, it was perfect for the 9" 2layer cake. I love that it is not too sweet.

This is such a simple recipe, with great results. I think its a must though to add the nuts. I've tried it both ways much too sweet without them.

Pam's Bierocks

I absolutely love these. they are perfect if you are feeding lots of peeps. And if your not, you have leftovers which are great the next day. I add celery seed as suggested. The kids and Hubby like to dip them in honey, I like them with Dijon mustard.

Bananas in Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
I loved this...delish! I halved the recipe to begin with, it makes a ton of sauce. The trick is to keep on stirring, no matter what. It will come together. In the past I have made caramel sauce with sugar water and cream. This version is much richer tasting. A keeper for sure.
