Emily's Famous Hash Browns

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
Great recipe! I can never cook hash browns right but this recipe is so easy to follow and so tasty- I added garlic powder, sea salt, ground peppercorns and bacon = Yumminess! I think next time I may add cheese for some variety or just leave it as it! so easy and with a food processor is a snap!

Pistachio Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
Absolutely phenomenal! Great for entertaining, everyone is super impressed. My mom loved these, inlaws, and friends, they all wanted the recipe! and it's so easy! even easier- get the de-shelled pistachios :) Also, tonight i'm going to try this recipe with paneko bread crumbs for an even lighter taste :) For the sauce, i used a raspberry syrup for desert, it works perfectly!

Hong Kong Style Egg Tarts

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
Very authentic to what you would get at a Chinese bakery. The flavor of the custard was right on. I didn't have a strainer but the texture was perfect. As per other's suggestions I didn't as much sugar. It turned out very well, I'm very pleased :) and I had people asking me for the recipe! It made my Chinese New Year feast extra spectacular. Thank you!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
Delicious, it's a much better alternative to the standard cream of mushroom green bean casserole. I was a bit skeptical but after reading the reviews I decided to give this a chance. I made this as a side for christmas dinner and it was DELICIOUS, YuM-O! You have to try this!

I would cut back ont he sesame oil next time. Also while everything is in the wok- i made a small sauce with cornstarch, chicken broth, and soy sauce- poured it over the noodles and veggies. Good starting recipe, definetly can build off this one. Thanks!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
Great recipe! But made a few adjustments: with help from other reviews. I only used 1 cup of blue cheese, a whole bottle seemed too excessive, I shredded the chicken with hot sauce and butter and set it aside for about 30 minutes to soak. (also added more hot sauce, as we like our food a bit spicy). All in all great recipe and only made a few minor modifications. OH! and also used Jay's Signature Pizza Crust! :) YUM-O!

Jalapeno Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
This bread was delicious and so easy to make. When reading other reviews, I decided to bump up the cheese to ab 1 cup and it was delicious. Also, I didn't have any fresh jalapenos, so I used jar sliced jalapenos. This might account for the added flavor and moistness. Toasted the bread with butter and it was delicious. Thanks for a great recipe! Also, this was the first loaf i made in my new bread maker! :) thanks again for a sucessful recipe!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
These cookies came out amazing! I took some to my study group and my husband took some to work. People were upset because there weren't enough cookies! I used some mini kisses left over from halloween- (i didn't want to eat all the chocolate!) so i threw them into the cookies and they were a hit! :) THanks for a great recipe!

Great recipe, LOVED IT! I did as others suggested and halfed the cornstarch in the recipe. Also, next time so it's a bit crispier I plan to flour the chicken before putting it into the batter and make double the amount of sauce! I served it with a red bell pepper and it was delicious! :) I definitely recommend this recipe! *** update, i floured the chicken before putting it into th ebatter and it made it a lot crispier (SO GOOD!)******
