YUMMM!! I made this fudge today and it was fantastic. I followed the directions and while I let it cool somewhat before adding the butter and vanilla, I think it only cooled down to about 140 or so before I added everything. It was getting pretty thick and hard to stir at that point. Once I added the butter and vanilla, I only had to stir about 3 minutes before it lost its shine and started to harden. I quickly dumped it into my foil lined and greased pan and pressed it down with my hands. 30 minutes later it was set and ready to cut!! YUM YUM YUM! Just like my grandma used to make. I am so happy to have found this recipe! Thank you for posting it!
