Tomato Pork Loin Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
I made it tonight for the first time using boneless loin chops that I pounded down a little. I made the recipe exactly as stated and the flavor was very good. I will make this dish again. By the way, it's low cal which is a bonus!!

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Very convenient, very good. I did nothing extra to the recipe. I did simmer for 10 minutes to get some of the grease out of the meat, which I think made a difference. I will make this again when I want something very good and very easy.

Chinese Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2012
Very, very good! I changed nothing in the recipe. Since the recipe did not designate a particular flavor of ramen noodles and because I like spicy food, I used a chicken picante flavor. I hoped there would be a hot element to the dish, but there wasn't. However, it was good and I wouldn't change a thing. I didn't use all the toasted sesame seeds but someone else might. I ate 1/3 of the bowl by myself because it was so crunchy and good. I will make it again for sure. Thanks for such a good recipe!!

Three Packet Slow Cooker Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
I wondered how the three packets were going to work together, but the combination is perfect, really. I had to thicken the gravy but other than that I think the flavor is very good. I used 3# of stew meat and did not change or add anything else. I'll use this recipe again for flavor and convenience!

Slow Cooker Manly Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Pretty good. I added carrots and served it over rice. I think when I make it again I will add more flavors - perhaps garlic or bayleaf. I used 3 lbs of black angus beef stew meat and it was very tender. Good slow cooker supper. Thank you for the recipe.

Italian Square Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
Quite good for such an easy recipe. In the future I might add green pepper or garlic, but the flavor is very well balanced if made as described. 1lb. of beef doesn't go too far, so if you want to have extra for additional meals or have more than 2 people you want to feed more than twice off of this, you might want to double it. Time saving, and a good idea.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
These are really good! I will reduce the red pepper flakes next time for my weak-stomached husband. It is easy, delicious, quick and very, very good. I actually used too much parmesan when I doubled the recipe but they were fantastic anyway. Will surely make again and am sending the recipe to a friend who loves to cook.

Fireman's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
This turned out very well. I baked it in a 9x9 greased glass pan for about 50 min. I thought the dough was very dry when I mixed in the apples. I had to add a tiny amount of water and decided to put a little vanilla extract in there too. It baked well, turned out perfect and was delicious. I will be making it again using our home grown golden delicious apples. My husband liked the recipe very much, as did I. great with coffee!

Very good. I think I will add some seasoning to the cream cheese next time, but I will surely make them again. I buttered and browned the buns for an extra touch.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
Who'd think something this simple would be so good? I put 4 boneless pork shoulder chops in the slow cooker with a can of sauerkraut, sprinkled with some pepper and let it go 8 hrs. The meat was so tender and flavorful, both my husband and I enjoyed it very much and I will make it again!
