Peach Ice Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
This is an awesome recipe. I've tried it with peaches, strawberries, and bananas. Because it's Fall, I tried pumpkin, which turned out amazing. I halved the recipe to 16 servings, instead of peaches, i used a can of pumpkin, 3 tsp pumpkin pie spice, half brown sugar, half white sugar and added walnuts (only because I didn't have pecans) about 5 mins before the end of the ice cream maker cycle. Easy and delicious!

This was awesome! The potatoes I got were so big, the recipe fit in a 2 1/2 quart dish.I just doubled the other ingredients. We were eating leftovers for days and they heated up great.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I have to say that I am not a huge fan of vegetables but I love salsa....go figure! This recipe allows me to get some veggies in without even thinking about it. I love black beans and this recipe is a nice twist to the traditional black bean soup. Coupled with the ease of preparation, I'll be making a lot more!

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
I consider myself a so-so cook but making this made me feel like a gourmet chef!! I found this recipe after having mushroom risotto at a local restaurant. I was surprised at how easy (although time consuming but worth it) it was so make. All of my family (including my 3 year old picky son) loved it! Will make it again!

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
I thought this was pretty good. I agree it was very easy, but to me, it seemed something was missing to put it over the top. Not sure what that is but I may try one of the suggestions of using cheesecake pudding and chocolate graham crackers instead of what the recipe calls for. My 3 year old son, however, who is actually picky about desserts, couldn't get enough of it!

Peanut Butter Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
This is a great receipe....easy and relatively quick (if you buy a premade Oreo crust...but I made my own by doubling the suggested amounts as suggested by other reviewers). Everyone thought it was great, even people who are not big fans of peanut butter! Will make again! Thanks for sharing!

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
I made this recipe just to see if I could make biscotti...it turned out so well, my family wolfed down half of the batch and the rest went as a Christmas gift to my neighbors. I will try the 1 to 1 cup ratio of pistachios to cranberries next time as suggested. Thank you for posting, I will make it again!
