Delicious! Next time I will replace white flour with whole wheat and use a bit less sugar- will make again and again!

Artichoke Chicken

Definitely not low fat, but a worthwhile indulgence. Used half sour cream, half mayo like recommended and loved the flavors. I will be making this again!

Southern Sweet Potato Bread with Pecans

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
I LOVE sweet potatoes and I LOVED this bread! Made some with raisins and some without- good either way. Substituted applesauce for the oil and used half whole wheat flour and it turned out great! Dense and moist!

Spinach and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
Used fresh spinach and diced roma tomatoes. Still good after sitting in the fridge overnight as well! My husband is a pasta lover...and he thought this was delicious...great way to incorporate healthy vegetables!

Poppy Seed Bread with Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This recipe is AMAZING! My favorite sweet bread on the site! The only change I made was 1/3 cup applesauce and 1 cup oil. I though the glaze made it extra sweet, moist, and delicious. Hard to keep from eating the whole loaf at once. I think I'm going to try it as muffins next.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
So easy and tasty! Served them at a party and they disappeared so fast! I melted my milk chocolate/shortening in the microwave on a low power and it worked great. I recommend having toothpicks and styrofoam though (especially if you are going for looks), because resting the strawberries upside down to harden was tricky (there were a few casualties).

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This is an awesome party dish! So easy and delicious! Make sure to assemble it right before serving (I baked the cookie ahead of time though)-- if you let it sit too long the fruit will turn it soggy.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
My husband and I loved these cookies! The key is to under cook them a bit so they stay soft and chewie once they have cooled. I followed the recipe exactly and thought they were perfect!

Surprisingly these cookies are amazing! I used only butter (no shortening) and otherwise follwed the recipe. I'll definitely make these over and over again!

This recipe is delicious! I did half white/half wheat flour and also added chopped walnuts, which I loved! A great way to use up overly ripe bananas!

Baked Salmon II

This was my first ever attempt at salmon...and I loved it! You definitely don't need that much oil, so cut it down, but otherwise it turned out great!

Szechwan Shrimp

Loved this recipe! Its a bit spicy, so I might half the amount of pepper next time, but otherwise it is perfect! I served over it over a bed of white rice- I was shocked how easy and delicious it was!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2008
These taste OK but they look horrible...I divided the batter out over 12 muffins and they still overflowed all over the place! Way too much topping...maybe they would be better without it at all.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I dont know what whoever wrote this recipe was thinking as far as the instructions on boiling the eggs. I follwed them exactly and the eggs were not cooked at all...runny and ruined. They take MUCH longer to boil! Otherwise the recipe is pretty good.

Apple Pumpkin Muffins

So yummy! These muffins turned out delicious (even without the topping). I didn't have pumpkin pie spice so I only used cinnamon and they were still flavorful! Perfectly moist and i'll definitely be making these over and over again!
