Chocolate Covered Orange Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
These were very sweet. I found that they taste better after a few days...gives the flavors a little bit more time to blend that way. I loved them, just the same!!!

This is SOOOOOOOO Good... and such a successful bread to try in the machine. You cannot mess up! Try a slice with preserves or honey butter.. I cannot say enough about this bread!

Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2003
Very good... and very rich! This ended up being enough for two 9x13 pans of Manicotti... so I doubled the amounts of the sauces, and froze a pan! I actually made this for my birthday yesterday... it was a big hit with the family! Thanks Mark!

Easy Herb Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
Moist, and tasty! A Thanksgiving Feast to REMEMBER!! I substituted 1/2 cup melted butter for 1/2 cup of the olive oil. I put quartered onions in the cavity of the bird. Because I used a stoneware roaster, I also decreased the amount of water called for. THIS WAS A HIT. My mother always did the turkey, and I had never done one before. She passed away right after Valentine's day this year. My family tasted the turkey, and told me "You mother would be proud! THis is great!" Thanks for such a wonderful recipe!

Sherry Chicken Curry

Good, and different. A nice change of pace from your typical weeknight (or weekend) fare! Adjust the spice to your liking, and pass the naan or the basmati rice!

I liked this bread! My family asks for it often. I used the stale leftovers in french toast this weekend... NICE! I am thinking about using it next time for bread pudding...

Chili I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2001
I read my mother the list of ingredients and she thought I was nuts! But I will admit that I liked the chili, though I added a little more brown sugar. We found it even better the second day! My two year old though it was great.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2001
This was a tender pot roast, even though I didn't use the best cut of meat in the world. My mother hates my pot roast (and I am not a fan of most roasts) but this one was a winner in my family. I served biscuits on the side and cooked veggies right along with the roast -- MAJOR COMFORT FOOD! Not for those with heart probs, though :).

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2001
I have tried it with the sour cream and found it to be a nice change. I also use the reduced fat cream of chix soup and that worked well too. Cooking the bacon is a nice idea, and I will try it the next time I make this dish. I have been making it regularly for a long time now, and it has always been a fave here at our house- even for my mother who can be somewhat picky. She will sometimes request this if she is coming over for dinner! A hit and a nice change of pace!
