I love to cook and experiment with all different types of food. I like to use a lot of natural and organic food.
My favorite things to cook
Stir-fry's, Mac 'n Cheese, anything grilled, Mexican, BBQ, Breakfast, Italian, Desserts...I love to cook just about anything!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is Polish. I love to eat Kielbasa, Cheesy potatoes, Home made Coffee cake, and Green bean casserole for Easter! Thanksgiving...Turkey, mashed potatoes, home made dressing, sweet potato and pumpkin pie! Christmas...Kielbasa, Turkey, cheesy potatoes, lots of appetizers, shrimp, lots of homemade desserts (esp Rum cake!)
My cooking triumphs
Mac and Cheese, Stir-Fry's, Sausage gravy, Baked beans, Fettucine Alfredo, Roasted chicken; and anything that involves my moms recipes handed down to me!
My cooking tragedies
I have had quite a few! I am always learning new ways to cook things...

Goulash Supreme
I only gave it 4 starts due to me adding/changing a couple of things. I used less paprika, more chili powder and added some green pepper to it. I also less stewed tomatoes. The tomato paste is a must for me. It had a lot of flavor! You definately want to cook the macaroni seperately.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies
very disappointing! I think if I would have used just Butter instead of the shortening and Butter; they would have tasted a lot better. My children and husband didn't like them either; and said that there was an "aftertaste". It also calls for too much sugar.

Broccoli Cheese Soup
Absolutely the best Broccoli soup!! I did make some changes according to other reviews. I used fat free 1/2 and 1/2 instead of milk, doubled the broccoli, and used 2 bags of sharp cheddar, and 2 bags of mild cheddar/colby jack mix instead of processed cheese food (8 oz bags). I also added a little salt and pepper. It was excellent! I would like to mention that it is best to read the a lot of the other reviews 1st before making any recipe. There are some great add ons and ideas listed!
