Happy Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
Awesome recipe!! I tweeked it a bit but not a ton. Quadrupled the sauce cause I was feeding a family of four who loves sauce and leftovers. Added baby portabella mushrooms, little more garlic and about 1/4 cup parmasean cheese. After sauce was done stirred in 1 lb Orzo (which I think paired perfect for a pasta choice) and let simmer for a few mins to soak in flavor. Served with my Bruchetta --Superb!! Definitely keeping this one.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Someone made this at a BBQ a couple weeks ago and I knew I'd be able to find it on here. So I made it this weekend for son's bday cookout. Only thing I changed was used a full cup of hot sauce (we like spicy)and blue cheese dressing instead of ranch. Was a huge hit!! Not a drop leftover (which I was kind of disappointed about lol). Served with tortilla scoops and celery sticks. mmmmm

Fresh Asparagus Risotto

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
See risotto all the time on my favorite chef competition shows but never had it or attempted to make it before. WOW, it was awesome!! I now am a risotto lover and impressed that I could make it so well with the help of this recipe! Only thing I changed was swapped the chicken stalk/water measurements and added more asparagus cause I love it. Delish!!

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Made these for my son's birthday cookout. Oh My God!! These were incredible!! Better than some restaurants. I used Kraft original BBQ sauce, cooked in foil packets in a 250 degree oven for 4 hours while we set up for the party. Hour later threw them on the grill w/a little fresh BBQ sauce to heat back up. Fell off the bone, finger licking good!!!

Maria's Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
This was sooo good!! I used leftover london broil from last night (sliced it thin), peppers, onions, broccoli, mushrooms, baby corn and celery. More like a stir fry but the sauce is delicious. I doubled the sauce as some suggested but it was too much, next time I won't. Also added some crushed pepper as suggested - good call. Served over brown rice cooked in beef broth. Yumm...whole family approved!!
