Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
I was shocked at how easy this dessert was to make. I did add more coffee than it called for and you couldn't even really taste it. Next time I will add a little more. I loved how it wasn't overly sweet. It was so good I overindulged a bit :)

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
this is a great recipe. The ranch was a little too much, although I think if I could have found a restaurant quality ranch dressing it would have been better. so next time I will use half ranch half sourcream. or maybe the powdered ranch mixed with sourcream.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
This is an Awesome recipe! I do pound the chicken out and cut the breasts into smaller pieces. I used the seasoned bread crumbs. I also tried making this recipe low carb friendly by replacing 2/3 bread crumbs with more cheese, wheat bran and nutrtional yeast flakes. YUM. It tasted almost identical!

Napa Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
This is a Great salad, I have made it about 10 times now. I changed a few minor things. I use half the packet of ramen seasonings to jazz up the noodle almond mixture, I also prefer sliced almonds to the slivered. Lastly, I reduced the amount of suger in the dressing to half. Everyone loves this salad!

this is a creamy yummy way to get our veggies and avoid the starch. i used beef base instead of vegatable broth. it's all I had. turned out great. I didn't puree it too much so it had some texture.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
This is exactly how I do my pot roast and it comes out perfect everytime! Just be sure to use a chuck roast. This is a perfect recipe for my child who is allergic to dairy and can't have the cream of mushroom soup. I use the liquid left over to make a wonderful gravy.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
Very good. I changed the recipe slightly because of my son's food allergies. I used egg replacer. I also used only 1/2 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup of honey, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour & 1/2 cup of bran flakes. My kids loved them... and it was so sweet when my 2 year old shouted "I'm not allergic?!!!" Thanks.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
This was very simple. I was a little nervous how it would turn out and was left in shock as to how good it was. I did use raw shrimp. I am not a fan of reheating cooked shrimp, it ends up being rubbery.

Thanks for the recipe. My 5 year old helped make them and they were very easy. I did use agave nectar in place of the sugar.
