Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
Holy cow! The best apple desert EVER! And I was never a fan of apple anything. I followed the other reviewers' advice and put crisp on top and bottom. I rolled the apples in the sugar mixture+nutmeg before laying it in the pan. Also, I soaked the apples in water before I baked it because I didn't have enough time to throw it in the oven before it turned brown; so, I didn't add any water. It came out perfect. Note: Remember the vanilla ice cream!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
It tasted fine for me. Nothing to brag about. Really you could add just about any seasoning to this recipe to make it the flavor you like. It tasted exactly like the roasted chicken you can buy hot and ready from the grocery store. Next time I would like to try putting barbeque sauce on it or maybe even lemon pepper seasoning. It's very versital.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
I followed what everyone else had to say. I added and omitted here and there. And it came out great. My husband loves carrot cake and this one to boot. I didn't make the frosting and it was still good.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
Very easy, very good. My picky eaters loved it. Next time I'm going to get an extra bottle of barbeque sauce, one wasn't quite enough. After cooking it for 3 hours I got really nervous when the pork wasn't shredding, but at the end all was well. I plan to make this again, soon.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
Very easy and very tasty. I fed this to my incredibly picky children and they ate it up. I normally don't use frozen vegetables, but for this recipe I used frozen asparagus. You would have never known there was a difference. Also, I had to add and extra 1/2 cup of water. There was one thing I didn't like. It wasn't hot (temp). After I added cooled chicken to the asparagus and then added the noodle and finally letting it sit there for 5 Minutes. It cooled down a little more than I would have liked. Overall a great recipe...I'll definitely make it again.

Mexican Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2007
It was ok. I didn't o eat it so we ahave long grain rice so I had to use regular rice. It took an additional 10 minutes, but it still came out pretty good. we ate it with tortillas. Almost everyone liked it, but we'll probably make it again. This time with long grain rice and more spice.
