About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook chicken fajitas. This was the first thing I really cooked from scratch and it turned out awesome. I also love to cook chicken Alfredo lasagna.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas Eve my family and I go over to my Grandma's house for dinner.
My cooking triumphs
Chicken Fajitas Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Chicken Cordon Bleu Sweet and Sour Chicken Chicken Tortilla Soup Wonton Soup Cheesy Broccoli Soup
My cooking tragedies
I printed a carrot cake recipe off this website and decided to try it. I baked it for how long it said to cook. Then I stuck a toothpick in it and it came out clean. So, I let it cool then I frosted it. I tried a piece and it was excellent. When I cut pieces to give to my grandpa, the inside was all goopy. I was so upset. My dad said I should scrape off the frosting and cook it again, so I did. When I refrosted it and tried a piece it was still pretty good. So I was excited, but still a little upset because it didn't turn out perfect.

Mom's Ginger Snaps
I followed the recipe exactly. Didn't add more spices or anything and I thought the cookies turned out excellent! The outsides were crispy and the insides were chewy--I loved it! A day later I crushed the cookies and turned them into a ginger snap crust for a pumpkin cheesecake I made. The ginger snap crust compliments the pumpkin very well!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
This cake was awesome! I had a little trouble because it wasn't done after the amount of time it said to cook. But, overall it was great. The frosting was very creamy and sweet.
