Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

I wasn't completely satisfied with this recipe. It was a little plain but it was easy. I usually use a frozen dough but I am trying to find one made from scratch so there are no weird ingredients. I will probably keep looking.

Carolina Pork Twirl

I took what some of the previous reviewers had said and cooked the bacon a little first. I am not a huge pork fan but I could eat this again. My husband loved it!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I love this recipe because it is so easy and the meat comes out so tender. I love that I can put it in the crockpot and leave it. I usually do one can COM and one can CO Celery. I also add either beef stock or beef bouillon.

Alfredo Mostaccioli

Love! Love! Love this recipe! The only thing I change is adding more parmesan cheese if I want it thicker but I don't always do that. Remember the suace will thicken as it sits. I have also used this sauce as a pizza sauce and I have even frozen it. If you freeze it, DON'T defrost in microwave. It must be reheated using warm water and then over the stove to prevent seperating. SO GOOD!!

Fresh Cherry Crisp

I have never had fresh cherries baked in a dessert...just the ol' stand-by, canned cherries. I was looking for something different and I LOVED the fresh cherries in this. I also decreased the sugar by about a 1/4 cup and it was PERFECT served with icecream.

Individual Beef Wellingtons

My husband loved this recipes. I am not a huge fan of mushrooms so I didn't LOVE it. We did put foil over the wellingtons after the bake time for another 5 min. and the steak was cooked perfectly medium. I also added garlic to the paste.

Hopi Corn Stew

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was a great base for chicken and dumplings but you definitly have to add more...I added frozen veggies (corn and peas) and 2 diced red potatoes. I used broth instead of water. I took someone else's suggestions and added poultry seasoning, parsley, cumin, seasoned salt and pepper. I also cooked the biscuits for an hour.

Manicotti Italian Casserole

I made it exactly as is and it was just OK. I really liked the pepperoni addition but I thought it could use some additional seasonings. I will still probably make this again because it was quick to throw together and these are ingredients I usually have on hand.

Pork Chalupas

This was sooo easy! The flavor was fantastic. I only had canned beans on hand so I just added them to the meat and leftover juices in the last 10 min. and they worked perfectly. I didn't change anything else. Will definitly be making again.

Tuscan Soup

Loved the flavor and so easy to make. The only thing I might change is the evaporated milk to cream but the evaporated milk tasted great too. I also like mine a little spicy so I added a little red pepper. My husband so this was definitly a keeper.

Best Spanish Rice

This was really easy and yummy but didn't quite taste like authentic spanish rice to me. Edit: I actually made this again using home-made salsa and it was 100x better. I should have known store-bought salsa wouldn't have been as good! Will make again and again!

If you are using large/thick chicken breasts then you may have to filet them so they cook all the way through. Other than that, it was very good.
