Spinach Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
Really great recipe for adults and kids alike! The sauce makes enough for two recipes so I freeze half for next time... and there is always a next time! Also, the baking time seems to be short I usually end up baking an extra ten minutes.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Made these for christmas morning. They add such a festive smell to our present opening. I prepared the dough the night before and just popped it in the oven in the A.M. This one will be with us for many holidays to come!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
Was really torn about whether this one should be 5 star. I loved it, but my kids thought the cranberries were to tart. I think it is something I can bake knowing that only the more sophisticated pallates in our family will eat. Which just means more for me! I know that chopping the berries would help with the kid issue, but to me that is what makes this bread great!

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

I have made this 3 times in 3 weeks! My whole family loves it. Even the little ones gobble it up with no idea what they are eating. It is also surprisingly easy and I will keep it in mind for company.

Super easy! Rave reviews from the whole family. I skipped the onions so the kids would eat it and I don't think we missed them.

Cream Cheese Cookies IV

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
I promised my 4 yr. old that we could make cookies after his nap. One look in the pantry revealed we had no sugar. Never fear, All Recipes is here! So obviously I did not set out to make these cookies, but I am sure glad I did. I set out the ingredients before he woke up and let him do the magic. They were really fun to make with him because you just kinda throw it all together! Not only that... they were great! My husband and three other sons had them gobbled up that same night. Yes they are cakey, duh, look at the ingredients! In my opinion that is what makes them so yummy. Due to the state of my kitchen I did have to make a few subs. I used half cream cheese and half sour cream. I only had butter cake mix on hand so I used that with a healthy dose of vanilla. One more thing... We made them right before Valentine's day so my son wanted to add red sprinkles. It was a stroke of genius, it really added something to the otherwise blah look.

Seven Flavor Hamburger

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I would definitely call these a gourmet version of a sloppy joe. My family usually turns their noses up to a standard joe but I had some ground beef I needed to use and I had the ingredients on hand. I am so glad I gave these a try! Very easy to make and pleasing to everyone. Thank you for a new twist on an old not so favorite!

Wonderful! Instead of pasta I added cheese tortellini that I pre-cooked. It was hearty and satisfying for the whole family.

Bran Muffins I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
Very good! It's nice to make the batter on Sundays and have nice warm muffins for before school most of the week. A little less fluffy than I would expect, but this might be due to the batter sitting around

Summer Vegetable Ratatouille

Really good recipe. I also played around with the seasoning to adjust to my family's taste. We used all the vggies from our garden this summer and even froze some for winter. This is a good way to enjoy the flavors of summer.

My new favorite chili recipe! I added less meat and more beans but otherwise stayed true to the recipe. This has just the right amount of spice and tomato kick
