Thank you for this recipe. It's become an instant favorite. I've gotten numerous compliments on them. I would imagine you would need to like coconut to like this recipe, but if you do - you must make them! I followed the recipe exactly as written and had no problem with the cookies turning out too flat.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

I've whipped this up for several 'appetizer' parties. It's easy and quick to make and always disappears. I do serve with a side of pizza sauce for dipping, although it tastes great plain.

Chocolate Chip Date Cake

My mother made this when I was growing up and I have been making it for years. It always turns out great and everyone always loves it. The dates 'disappear' into the cake and friends are always surprised when I tell them it's a date cake.

Chunky Pecan Pie Bars

I'm giving this 5 stars because it was so easy to make and I received rave reviews from the folks in my office. As other reviewers mentioned, the sides do get a bit crunchy and should be trimmed - but why throw away?! They're great dipped in coffee.

Arrabbiata Sauce

This is a great recipe, especially on those nights I don't know what to cook or don't have a lot of time. I always make sure my pantry has the ingredients to make this. The only minor change I make is that I used canned crushed tomatoes.

Wilderness Place Lodge Cookies

This is an awesome cookie. I halved the recipe and it still made 50 'normal-sized' cookies. I followed the recipe as is with the exception of throwing in half again as many chocolate chips (a compromise for my husband who wanted plain chocolate chip cookies). I used a stone baking pan and cooked for 12 mins. Every cookie came out perfect. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It will definitely be a staple in my cookie repetoire.

Coconut Bon Bons

Angel Food Candy

I remember eating this candy during the holidays when I was a child (30+ years ago!). I haven't seen it to buy for a long time, so had to try out the recipe. It was just as I remembered. It was easy to make, although mine easily filled the pan. I also prefer using semi-sweet chocolate to coat instead of the other coating.
