The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
Perfection! I have made these for the past 3 years during Christmas and always give them away. Everyone thinks they are perfectly moist and sweet (but not overtly sweet since I do decorate the cookies with buttercream icing!) I find that the perfect cooking time (in my oven) is 7 minutes, as opposed to the 8, so my tip is to set your oven timer for at least 1 minute before the noted cooking time and check in on your cookies. Each oven is different. Enjoy!

John's Pimento Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
My mom makes her pimento cheese just like this...uses light mayo occasionally. The consistency is just like I remembered when she made it...perfect! I added a few shots of (Louisiana) hot sauce for a little kick. Yum!

Seattle Cream Cheese Dogs

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2008
My boyfriend who is not a bit fan of onions HAS to have them on these hot dogs. In fact, he doesn't even like hot dogs...but he requests these all the time...he even makes them for me sometimes. I wouldn't change a single thing...they are awesome!!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2008
Make sure to brush the bottoms lightly with butter. Wow, these are so awesome...takes a little longer to make than other appetizers, but it is well worth it!

Zesty Chicken Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
It definitely gets 5 stars for originality. It is a nice change of pace from the regular ketchup meatloaf. My boyfriend (not the biggest fan of meatloaf) requests this dish constantly...I'll have to show him how to make it. Give this one a try...it's great!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
Definitely the winner in the race of my favorite cookie! I freeze my Reeses before hand, and even stick the cookies in the freezer after I push them into the cookies...just so the chocolate doesn't melt. The perfect cookie!

Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
Wow! I absolutely love Asian food and I am always looking for the best recipes to make at home to save a couple of bucks by not ordering in. This is the most authentic Chinese recipe I have ever tried. It is wonderful...I changed nothing. I am actually going to cook it with pork instead of chicken tonight. YUM...try this, you won't regret it!

Campbell's Kitchen Chicken Broccoli Divan

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
Very good...my boyfriend, who can be hard to please with casseroles, even loved it. My changes: cooked (I boiled) 2 chicken breasts and cut them up and sprinkled with garlic parsley salt. In the broccoli cheese soup mixture I only added a splash of milk and about 3/4 cup light mayo and sprinkled garlic salt in the mixture. The garlic salt makes all the difference! Yum!

Double-Cheese Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
I loved this...I just made it one morning for my boyfriend since I had all the ingredients except bacon. It was wonderful without it, so I imagine it is awesome with the bacon. The eggs are perfect if you cook them for 3-5 minutes (cook longer for less runny). Thanks, wonderful recipe!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
Wonderful dish! A few changes per other reviewers: 1/2 cup sour cream instead of the cream of chicken, I added diced chilies on top as well as cumin. Also sauteed onions with the chicken, and just mixed all the ingredients together (no need to layer). I also threw a can of corn into the mixture. Boyfriend loved it and it made tons of leftovers!
