Baklava
MUCH easier than previous baklava recipes I've used, and every bit as good as what my Greek relatives make! A tip to make it easier still -- before you cut the baklava, put the pan in the fridge or freezer, as it makes the phyllo easier (or at least neater) to cut. I used lemon extract instead of lemon zest in the syrup, and it worked well. I also agreed with the reviewer who said you'd need to use more than a few tablespoons of nuts in each layer; I think I probably used about 1/4 cup of nuts (the traditional Greek way is to use walnuts) in each layer. Great stuff!

Apple Crisp III
My 13-year-old daughter makes this for special family dinners, and always enjoys the rave reviews! It is easy to make, smells wonderful cooking, and is absolutely yummy. I'd have thought that without oats or brown sugar, it couldn't possibly be as good as my grandma's -- but it comes darn close!

Garlic Feta Dip
Easy to make, and really, really good! Also yummy with finely minced cucumber mixed in. Definitely worth a try!
