Anytime Fruit Salad

Reviewed: May 8, 2012
Delicious fruit salad. I like another reviewer blend my cottage cheese in a food processor for a smooth texture and I also add marshmallows to it. I make it the night before so that the flavors blend well. I've made this to take to pot lucks and it is always a favorite.

Breakfast Pies

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
This was a great idea! I made these for a breakfast pot luck and they were a BIG hit. I used pillsbury biscuits and used a frozen breakfast bag heated the contents and then added the mixture on top of the biscuit topped with egg and cheese. This was super easy and most importantly very tasty.

Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
Only gave this four starts since I used TRindell modifications (Reviewed on Apr. 26, 2005). This frosting was absolutely FANTASTIC! My peanut butter husband LOVED the cupcakes I made him. The frosting had somewhat of a thick consistency, but it was super tasty. I will definitely be making this again and again!

Mexican Wedding Cookies (Polvorones)

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I made these cookies for Christmas to go along with our traditional Mexican themed feast. They were great tasting and everyone enjoyed them. The only draw back was they didn't hold their shape. I had shaped them into crescents and was hoping they would stay to form. But once place into the oven they flattened out.

Chess Cake

Quick to put together and very rich. I love how the consistency of cake allows it to be cut into bars. It has a custardy feel to it which I like.

Cut-Out Cookies in a Flower Pot

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
As many have said already. This is the BEST sugar cookie dough recipe EVER. I have made these cookies multiple times and each time I make them the cookie plate is empty. I have also tried cookies on a stick and found that shish kabob sticks work well for that. Also this recipe makes a LOT of dough, I use what I need and then freeze the rest.

English Royalty Chocolate Chip Scones

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
This is a wonderful recipie. My husband and I are currently living in Japan and do not have a starbucks near by. So i make these for my husband instead, and shape them into triangles like they do at the coffee shop. I omit the orange juice and replace with vanilla. These are so yummy :)

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
Great recipe, the only draw back was that the bread could have been a little more fluffy. Next time I make this I will be adding more butter to the cake batter. My family enjoyed this very much. (I added fresh strawberries as filling and also topped the cake with the same mixture).

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Great recipe. I used beef broth instead of water like some of the other people and used an onion gravy mix instead of an onion soup mix. The Pot Roast was tasty and very tender. I will make this again soon!

Pollo a la Crema

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I used this recipe as a base for my pollo con crema. I sautéed some sliced onions and tomatoes with a little garlic salt, and then added my boiled shredded chicken and some tomato sauce. I also added cumin, oregano and cayenne pepper and salt until it was to my liking. Lastly I added sour cream and voila, it was perfect! I am Hispanic and it tasted just like my mothers pollo con crema. Thanks for the base idea.
