Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
This is the first and last recipe I will ever try. It is fabulous. And it makes plenty for freezing. I added an extra potatoe and used three ham hocks. It is wonderful and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
I have tried different recipes. This is by far the most fantastic recipe I have ever tried. This will be my recipe for life. I did have to increase the amounts a tad bit because I had a 4 pound corned beef instead of a 3. Amazing recipe. I have been handing it out left and right to those who were present to eat it. I will be making it again in a couple of weeks for the other side of my family. They're excited....and so am I. I get to make and eat it again. It is so simple!

Orange Roughy Parmesan

Reviewed: May 3, 2007
Fabulous! I did dip in egg first instead of butter and then put a bit of butter in the pan and a little on top. I used less this way. Mixed the salt and garlic powder into the breading. I have used Blue Hake and Cod. Both are great!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
Best meatloaf ever. My husband absolutely loved this also! I made a double batch and froze half of it. The only thing I did different was...I put a whole onion in the double batch and one packet onion soup mix. It was wonderful.

Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
This was okay. I cooked mine for 1.5 hours and it was still not done. I gave it four stars because the sauce is great and I will use the sauce again for something.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

My husband is a spaghetti lover, so...in his words...", that's good!" This is the keeper. No need to search for the perfect recipe any longer.

Sausage-Stuffed Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
I made my recipe with jimmy dean hot sausage. It was way to rich. The recipe is fantastic though, I never knew you could cook a squash in the microwave so quickly. I've always used the oven for a half hour. Ten minutes made it perfect. I think we will try the maple sausage next time. Will probably be much better. I'm thinking of other things to add to it.

The search is over....this is AMAZING! WOW! Just so you know...I did use a 9X9, I think the 9X13 would be way too big.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2007
Just Okay. Won't make again. I would use regular onion instead of green onion. Just use green onion as a garnish. I like the Betty Crocker Version of this recipe better.

Branana Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
These are okay. I needed to use up a couple of bananas and love bran. With butter spread these are good. A little bland otherwise. However, if I had to use up the same ingredients that I needed to, I would make these again but with allspice or cinnamon or something.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
Wonderful Bread. Made with 1/4 cup sugar. Yummy! My husband raved about it and son (2) shoved it in. Will try with full amount of sugar next time just to see what it is like. Thank You! I have again made this with the full amount of sugar and it is still so yummy. For sandwiches I will use the 1/4 cup sugar. But it is yummy no matter what. To me this is a stupid-proof bread. Yeah!

We thought this was just okay. ' Not craveable. 'I have a lot of mix left over. 'We think it will be much better as a quesadilla.
