The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
Five stars for the sweet and sour sauce. I used frozen meatballs for a quick and easy meal. I put the meatballs in right after I mixed the sauce ingredients and brought it all to a boil together. Easy and Delicious! Perfect for me with three little boys, one being a newborn: ) A new family favorite.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
Delicious! Quick and Easy, but doesn't taste like it! My husband loves it and even my kids eat it. The first time I made it, it was a little too salty for me so last night I reduced the bouillon granules to 1 tablespoon and I did NOT add any salt. Perfection for us! Thank you for sharing.

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
I gave this recipe 4 stars because I did not follow the recipe exactly, but it turned out DELICIOUS! I used some suggestions from other reviews. With the onion and butter, I added garlic salt, poultry seasoning and 3-4 slices of bacon cut up. I also only added about 3/4 cup of bread crumbs and a sleeve of ritz crackers crumbled up with apple juice added for good moisture. I did not stuff the chops because I knew my kids wouldn't like it, so I browned the chops (with oil and salt and pepper) and put them on top of the stuffing in the pan, poured some more apple juice on top and cooked as instructed. Towards the end I made sure to mix some of the stuffing mix on top of the pork chops so they would be nicely flavored. Excellent!

Delicious! I used fresh pumpkin puree and added some chocolate chips for my children. These were really yummy and flavorful. A nice change from regular pancakes.

White Chili with Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
If you're looking for good, quick and easy, this is a great recipe. I already had cooked chicken in my fridge so I was able to throw the rest together to make a nice warm meal for my family. Served it with cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips.

Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
This was the first chicken salad I have made on my own and it turned out wonderfully. It was so delicious that I ate much of it with a spoon. I didn't have as much bacon as the recipe called for or the chestnuts, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I think almonds or cashews would be really yummy in it for next time as a replacement of the chestnuts. I think I will use this recipe for a long time.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
Turned out tender and tasty. I did shorten the cook time according to the thickness of my pork chops (cook time about 45 minutes). My husband and I AND my 2 and 4 year old loved these.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

These were very tasty and my husband loved them. However, I will probably use less or no crushed red pepper flakes next time, but this is just preference.

Good traditional potato salad. I really liked that it asked for less mayonaise than others.

Corn Dip II

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
Good. Very yummy and of course very fattening. So it goes I guess. Also beware, my sister and I kept eating this as a snack while we fixed lunch or dinner and found that we were pretty much full before it was ever time to eat. Very filling. The recipe makes A LOT!

Light and fluffy and they stayed soft for the second day. I don't think they lasted another day.

No Bake Cookies V

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
This recipe was great. They turned out delicious. The only other comment I want to make is that they were pretty rich and sweet (a good amount of pb, sugar and cocoa powder will do that). My kids and I loved them but my husband prefers less sweet.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

This is a wonderful sauce!! My family loved it. We just use the recipe for the sauce with whatever chicken we have (usually breasts) and change the cook time according to what chicken we're using.
