Cheesy Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2011
Kids raved about this one! I did not have canned salmon so used frozen salmon instead & cooked it with the onion and pesto. I added a grated zucchini 2 minutes before serving for a bit more nutrition, might try with grated carrot next time as well. Thanks for this very quick recipe!

Baked Flounder

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
I used sole for this & marinated it in lemon juice for .5 hour(while making everything else). Didn't have the white wine so i just poured the lemon marinade over the fish then topped with the marjoram & pepper...then 1/4 breadcrumbs & 1/4 wheat germ & parm cheese mixture. My family raved about this: "this is the best ever" raved my "pickey solefish eater husband"!! My 3 yr old devoured it & my 5 year old thought it was "fair"....WOW, i loved it...definately a keeper!!!---thanks!

Dijon Crusted Halibut

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
i used sole for this recipe & didn't mix the crumbs & parmesan into the mixture. instead i dipped both sides into the liquid mixture then dry mixture & baked for 13 minutes @ 350. Topping turned out crisp & flavourful. my kids enjoyed it very much!

Old-Fashioned Vanilla Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
well, this was a hit & we sure didn't need much. my hubby critisized me for making it from scratch "again & the last one i made (5 years ago!!)was dreadful"...he loved this one. i did as someone else mentioned & put a cinnamon stick in when bringing to a boil & this added a nice subtle flavour. i will make this again but we really dont need to eat very much-- did i already say that!!!

Best Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
i thought this was quite easy & as others said i used minced garlic instead of garlic salt. Unfortunately i did not have the "mix" so instead i used bread crumbs, onion flakes, chives, parsley flakes, basil& celery seed. my picky son loved the chicken & my daughter gobbled it up (have yet to hear what my hubby thinks since he is not home). personally, i thought it as a bit rich so next time i think i will try half sour cream & half yogurt.
